This is the most common injury if you suffer from Proprioception that is the inability to sense where your ankle is location. The muscles will not be able to prevent something they cant sense. Also, if you have weak ankles and they roll or tip over due to weak muscle strength and flexibility. Ice Skaters Ankle is very obvious. When the ankle rolls over on the outside of the foot that is called Inversion Ankle Sprain. This happens when you land on something like a foot or uneven surface and land with a twisting motion.
Thanks for a great product. I ordered the knee wrap last time (1997) as I had hurt my knee while using a machine at the gym. My knee was so sore it was difficult to walk much less, up steps. After using the knee wrap, it did not take long before all of the pain was gone. I was amazed. The pain has not returned. I have since ordered (1998) these for my Mom for her wrist and for a friend for her ankle. They were both pleased. Now once again we have returned (2002) and my son is using the wrap for ankle pain. Thanks again!
Ankle sprains and the resulting swelling (pain) is the most common single acute ligament injury in the U S A. The ankle, by far experiences the most use of all joints in the human body and and sustains the most abuse. Ankle sprains can occur under many different circumstances and they are most likely to occur during active participation in athletics.
Call from an executive:
"I was able to finish the marathon Sunday after receiving your ankle wrap. I did not have any ankle pain or swelling even after the race. I broke my ankle a couple of years ago and a week earlier I could only run 13 miles, before the swelling and pain got so bad I had to stop. I want to order another ankle wrap and the compression shorts. I am surprised this product is not more in the main stream. It is exceptional." Al
From basketball games to tennis matches to track and field events, athletes depend on the ability of the ankle to control balance, vertical propulsion and forward and lateral movement. Not surprisingly, ankle injuries are the most frequent sport-related injuries, accounting for an estimated 30% of all such injuries. They represent as high as 45% of all injuries in men's basketball, and 38% of injuries for women.
The bone, or osseous, structure of the ankle consists of seven tarsal bones that include the talus, the calcaneus (the heel bone), and the cuboid. These seven bones are connected to each other, and are also connected with the tibia (shin) and fibula of the lower leg, and the metatarsal bones of the feet.
Today in the world 80% of people suffer from ankle/foot pain/ache at one time or other. It is the third most common medical complaint. Why is the foot so vulnerable to ache and injury? For one thing, it is very complex organ, a structure of 26 bones i.e. 12.5 of all the bones in the entire body, 56 ligaments & 38 muscles. With each step you take, the whole ensemble must shift & flex properly to carry your weight. There is a lot that can go wrong. This complex structure takes a heavy dose of wear & tear. By the time the average person is 35, his/ her feet have normally carried him/ her some 45,000 miles.

"i have been using your knee wrap with good success for several months. i have lately found that the wrap often slips off my knee and onto my calf. surprisingly the pain relief seems as effective when it is on my knee. am i delusional or have you heard of similar experiences. thanks."
"I wanted you to know I am very satisfied with your knee pain product, and relief my right knee got. I can now start jogging again. The pain in my right knee was so bad I could hardly walk, what's more even consider jogging. It has been so frustrating I almost gave up after visiting two doctors. I started searching for knee pain braces/wraps to see if I could find some alternate pain relief before I went to see a doctor about my knee. I found your website and enjoyed all the testimonials from people that have had relief. I thought why not. If it could work for them, it probably could work for me. I was a bit skeptical because they sounded so positive. It seemed impossible that simply a knee wrap could make the intense pain go away. After just 6 days of wearing it I was able to jog 2 miles. Grant it. it was tough on the lungs because it has been about a month since I have jogged, but my knee felt great. I just wanted to say Thank You for such a great product and I will definitely recommend this to anyone else who has aches and pains throughout their body".
Sue R. Email 12/18/2000 "I would like you to stick this on your testimonial page. I just ordered my second Goode Wrap. I sprained my knee badly in Feb. 2000. I LOVE the Goode Wrap, it helps a great deal! Especially in the clicking my knee makes, which is disconcerting. It helps me be more flexible and reduces pain as well. I had temporarily misplaced the one I have and I thought, I really should have a second one !!!! "

A Happy Customer
My name is Wayne and I am writing to you for advice. I have been suffering from Periostitis for 3 years. In that 3 years as a serving member of the British Royal Air Force, the only thing the medical staff have been able to do is diagnose me with Periostitis (shin pain), they have been unable to offer any type of treatment. Today I had an appointment with a surgeon to get the results of an MRI scan, I have had 3 previous bone scans. In summary the surgeon said that he does not know of any available surgery for my problem? I suppose that I should be relieved but he then went onto say that I could continue to exercise with Periostitis without suffering any long term problems, even though I would be in pain. This comment has scared me, I have no feeling just below the ankle and impact exercise induces swelling and pain.
Thankfully it looks as if I have found the experts in providing aids to help with the recovery of my problem and I have been very impressed with the reports and comments made on your website, so much so I will be making a purchase of your product. Could you tell me if I can purchase your product in the UK (speed and ease) or if I cannot, can I purchase it from yourselves direct?
I would be grateful if you could offer advice on which product will best suit me and my problem. Also, if you have any other advice or can point me in the right direction for further advice on the treatment/rehabilitation of Periostitis it would be much appreciated.

A physical therapist in a small clinic specializing in rehabbing athletes recommended Goode Wraps. I purchased a pair of Goode Wraps compression shorts and they relieved both my back and hip pain. I had them customize the shorts for me. The shorts work extremely well.

"I received my compression shorts and cant believe how much better my hip and groin feel within a few minutes after wearing them. I havent run in them yet as Im trying to give my muscles a few days of rest to help speed up recovery. I will probably try them out tomorrow. I am a distance runner and have been suffering from piriformis syndrome which results in sciatic pain and has brought back what was diagnosed a couple of years ago as osteitis pubis. Thanks for what so far seems to be great product." Mary
