Extra Premium Japanese Green Tea (Sencha) ________________ Provides Nutritional Antioxidant Protection - Nutrition Benefits PhytoChem Technologies, Inc. "Obtained results indicates SOTA instant green tea shows predominance of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), the most active health promotion ingredient in green tea". Laboratory Nutritional Analysis ______________ Sold Only in the US by SOTA New Research Confirms Green Tea Provides Best Antioxidant Protection Surpasses Vitamins E, C and Red Wine SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 11 -- Researchers at the University of Kansas have found new evidence confirming that a compound in a green tea provides stronger damage protection of cells and their genetic material (DNA) than the well-known antioxidants vitamins E and C and the antioxidant compound in red wine. "The antioxidants in tea are more effective than the vitamins that are usually construed to be antioxidants," said Dr. John Weisburger, senior member, American Health Foundation. He adds, "We need both but green tea is more effective." Specifically, the green tea antioxidants were approximately 100 times more effective than vitamin C, 25 times more effective than vitamin E, and nearly twice as effective as red wine.
What is so special about green tea? It contains a chemical called a polyphenol, which is a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants protect the body from the activity of harmful free radicals, which are though to contribute to cancer and heart disease as well as other age-related conditions. According to a 1994 article in CardiSense magazine, Green tea is different from the more familiar black tea in more ways than color. A recent study from China shows that green tea can protect against esophageal cancer. (The esophagus is a long muscular tube that goes into the stomach.) The researchers found that risks for men were reduced by 57% and those for women were reduced by 60%. A study done in Japan shows that drinking green tea also reduces cholesterol levels. Other studies suggest that green tea may protect against other types of cancer as well. Laboratory Analysis (Click Here) State of The Art Will Never Disclose Customers Information to Anyone. Defense April 2003
Researchers report in the Proceedings of the National Institute of Health Academy of Science that a green tea chemical boosts the bodys defense fivefold against disease. The chemical primes immune system cells to attack bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Dr. Jack F. Bukowshi and Womens Hospital in Boston and Harvard Medical School said he and his co-researchers isolated the chemical. Bukowski said, "L-theanine is broken down in the liver to ethytamine that primes the response of an immune blood cell called the gamma-delta T cell." |
